Default It's Tommy Tucker day on the Craig Biggio weblog

Posted By: Howard W. Rosenberg

Craig Biggio, as might not be readily known, recently passed Don Baylor for third place all-time on the hit-by-pitch list. Some in the media (such as The Sporting News, of all publications, in its July 8 issue) have forgotten that Hughey* Jennings and Tommy Tucker are still ahead of him.

In case you're viewing this after July 13, you'll have to meander through the blog to find July 13.

Without further ado, here's the link:

*Hughey is the original spelling of his first name.

The Mayo card I believe accurately depicts the result of two of the beanballs, one to the head and to the chest. You could also say Tucker knew how to get 'trimmed'.
