Default Trivia question

Don't Google it, let's see if anyone knows.

Who was the only Yankee to be teammates with Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Thurman Munson, Elston Howard, Roger Maris, Reggie Jackson, Don Mattingly, and Ron Guidry?

I am thinking Murcer as well. I believe he is the direct connection between Mantle & Mattingly.

Kinda cool, direct line: Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Murcer, Mattingly, Jeter

I'm saying Yogi if being a coach/manager applies. Certain he managed Mattingly, but not 100% certain if he coached Munson.

Mattingly didn't start unti 82, but I believe Murcer had returned to NY and was still playing in the early 80s.

He was expected to succeed Mantle as Mantle had succeeded DiMaggio and while he had a solid career, of course it never worked out that way.
