Default '59 Topps Frank Robinson...Which do you like better?

I have 2 1959 Topps Frank Robinson cards, both graded by SGC. One has a bit better centering, the other a bit better corners. I plan to keep one for my set and trade the other. Which do you like better?

Note: Any white specs are on the scanner, not on the card. Nothing wrong with the left border on the card on the right, that is dust.

Default 59 Robinson

Hard to go wrong with either David as they are both beauties. I like the right one myself

Right, due to the crisper image

I would hate to live on the difference between the two. If the backs are equaly as interchangeable, then it really is a coin flip you cannot lose.

Thanks guys! I usually look at centering before anything else and the card on the left definitely has better centering. However, the card on the right has that more “pack fresh” look to it. I think in this case I’ll stick with the card on the right because the centering is not too far off for my liking. BTW, the card on the left is a 7 and the card on the right is a 7.5.

I have another question (another thread) in this same forum for you set builders.

I would go with the card on the right. While the left card does have better centering, it also has a slight tilt, which tends to bug me. Both are nice cards, though.

I agree Chuck, the tilt of the one on the left bothered me too. I'd probably pick the one on the right. But I'd take a look at whatever that is on the lower left side. Looks like some paper is flaking off like it got dinged on that side.

My input, I like the one on the right as well.

Right.
Has better focus and although the left one has a little better centering, the tilt bothers me.

This is sort of like "Who'd you rather go out with, Jennifer Anniston or Charlize Theron?" Either way you win.

That being said, I'll take the curtain on the right.
