Default 1974 Deckle

I have gone a little overboard on this set. I first finished it in deckled gray backs. Then I finished a set of undeckled proof cards. I am now 2 cards short of finishing it in deckled white back ( I need Fisk and Bowa if anyone has them for sale).

Now I have picked up the full set in two uncut sheets. If I can ever find Mr Bowa and Mr Fisk in the needed white backs I will finally be done with these

By the way, the Gibson below is a fake. The proofs do not have a deckle pattern on them. The pack is good

If you see them I would reimburse you whatever it took to get them, plus a finders fee for your trouble

Default Very Nice!

Great sheets Al, good luck closing the deal on these.

I just noticed that the photographs are identical to the 1974 Puzzles. Topps could be a cheap company sometimes!

I have a couple photo images with Al in them, and believe me, it's not such a treat.

Al, are you not going to try and get a set on uncut sheets with the other color back?. Lazy......

So what do you do with the uncut sheet?

Is it framed, or just rolled up?

Not rolled, flat. Intend to frame it for study to go with these:

Default 1984 Topps Encased

It is a prototype proof sheet with the entire 1984 Topps Encased set. It differs from proofs of or the actual 1984 issued cards in that the insert pictures are contained completely within, or Encased within, the insert box. In the regular cards the heads extend beyond the boxes. Also the cards of Carlton and G Mathews have each other's intended insert...and Manny Trillo appears in a different uniform, Indians, than in the issued set

You can usually find individual cut cards with a search for Topps 1984 Encased

Al, what is that last sheet? They look like some kind of sticker. Were they an insert for some Topps issue? I don't recognize them.

Default Topps 1974 Action Emblem Stickers

They were retailed in cloth form in their own packs. I have one I can post later. They can also be found in sheet or cut carboard format. SCD has a checklist for them, but I have at least one not on their checklist in cut form

Al, if you're still in need of two white back deckle's I think that speaks to the scarcity of the issue. I've been looking for a white back Sutton for what seems like forever.

There are three types of packs, one "Cloth Stickers", one "Stickers" and one that was a hybrid and I believe contained a combo sticker and cardboard version. I need a scan of the latter is one is out there.

Also, There should be a cloth sticker, glossy sticker and cardboard version of this set and I believe some variants exist as well with different emblems. I need a glossy sticker version if anyone has one.

Default Emblems

Here is one of my two packs, both look the same to me. It contains one of the shown game cards as well. The Detroit/Texas Cloth sticker below is not in the SCD checklist or on the uncut cardboard sheet I posted earlier.

Dave---I am not clear what the glossy stickers are. There are 2 cardboard versions ? What is the "score mark between the upper and lower portions" ?

Al-

Only 1 cardboard version. Some stickers or cards have different logos for the same team I believe. Those tall ruboff games did come in the packs.

The score line is on the front of the cloth version (and presumably the glossy as well) and separates the larger, upper sticker from the lower, smaller one. Bob Fisk has a lot of the glossy stickers I think, maybe he can post one here (front and back), hint, hint.
