Default My first postcard show

Got this over the weekend at the first postcard show I ever attended. Thought this was a great find considering my expectations for the event were modest. Any other recent postcard pickups out there? (Sorry for the rotten scan)

When I first started with boxing I wasn't going to bother with postcards at all. You can go without baseball postcards and have a fantastic collection of just about everything but not so with boxing. Postcards document so much of the history that is just not available on 'normal' cards that I've become a big fan of the medium, especially oddball RPPCs from 1900-1930 depicting big-time HOFer fighters in training. Others must agree since I have over 6,500 visits to my PC site.

Default Unique PC

Adam,

Have you ever seen this postcard before? I am wondering how unique it is because I've only seen a single example.

I came across it in an antique paper store a couple years ago, but didn't pull the trigger (up until that point I had never bought a piece for my young collection as expensive as the shop's asking price). I completely regret it now and actually called the store when they opened this season. Unfortunately, somebody else had snatched it up.

It has a super unique design with the red and blue colors and I've never seen a postcard with the same "scorecard," format. I would love to hear your thoughts on this piece.
