Default Oh no… I have the Hartland bug! Looking for Williams and Yogi

I just received my first Hartland (Aaron - love it!) and now I want to add 2 more… if anyone has a nice Ted Williams and/or Yogi that are original and complete at a reasonable price, I’d love to hear from you!

Thx

Jeff

They're both easy find on eBay, although the bat that comes with Williams will likely be a modern creation. I believe the Williams has two varieties — one with and one without the "RE" on his jersey.

I saw an original Berra Hartland the other day for just $60. It didn't have a mask, but that doesn't bother me — what catcher hangs on to his mask when he tries to catch a pop-up anyway? Here are mine ...

Hartlands make wonderful display pieces. I just wish there were more players. Al Kaline, Frank Robinson and Whitey Ford would have been logical choices.

The BIN prices I see usually seem high but it seems you can get them at good prices in the auction format, assuming the opening price is good.

Great info from Chris and Rob...

Just one minor correction... The Ted Williams comes 2 ways... the lettering on his jersey can read either "Red" or "Red S". Not sure which is rarer but I believe it's pretty close (both versions seem to sell for the same amount).

There are lots of anomalies like this...

Mays can have either an orange or yellow outline around the numbers.

Ruth can have either a grey or green underbill of his cap.

Aparicio and Fox can both be seen with or without a red outline to the numbers and "SOX".

Drysdale's toe plate can be either white or plum colored.

Aaron can be found in a high-step and a low-step variation.

It just goes on and on... One of the most fun sets to collect!
