Default REA's uncut Obak Sheet

OK, so we now have two 76 card uncut Obak sheets from different years out there - check out lot # 156 in REA. I believe both sheets of 4 x 19 cards have trimmed borders/gutters but still the same size sheet from two different years is pretty interesting.

Any thoughts on this?

I think it's very interesting.Being now the second T212 uncut sheet with 76 cards (from two separate years),I guess it's pretty safe to say this would be a complete uncut sheet.

So,what leads us not to believe T206 cards weren't printed on sheets of 76 cards?I know these Obaks were printed on the West Coast by a different company, but were they using two different types of printing presses? How many manufacturers were making these monster presses back then, anyone know?

T212 and T206 are cut to the same size, that's all.

Anyhow,that is one awesome Obak sheet,I can't believe it's only at 4k!!!

Regards,Clayton

I tend to think the cards went in on the narrow axis when run through the press, i.e. sideways.

So... you're claiming they are ALL horizontals????

(Sorry. I couldn't resist.)

The only thing that prevents me from being reasonably convinced these can be called full sheets is that they are missing borders. I still seem to recall a third sheet that was larger, although it still was 19 across but I could be misremembering that.

Talk about the art of lithography!
