Default Photobucket finally up-over 200 HOF (178/300 BBHOF)

Finally got my photobucket up, even though I need a (much) better photographer. Focus is mostly baseball with 178/300 BBHOF, with 179 and 180 on the way. Most autographs, when possible, obtained IP.

Bill (WhyConform)-I am coming for you!

Very nice. You have quite a few in the future HOF and Hall of Good folders that should/probably will make the HOF so you should jump to well past 200 without any effort. I'm sitting at 168 but still have several easy ones to get on balls. Good luck on the last 75 or so!

Nice! ...I need to go through your photobucket later when I'm off of work. I remember at about 150 things started getting more expensive, then at around 190, it hit another level. I'm at 217/300, and I doubt I won't get higher than 225 (not including new inductees in the future).

ps: I'm not the one to catch. lol....If I'm not mistaken, there's 1-2 more on here w/ 220+. I think BombJack is at 231ish? That's nuts... Those 14 he's got on my probably cost as much as half of what I have thus far and require constant searching and patient bidding...I got time tho...still in my 20's lol

Great collection!!!

I'm sitting right at 200 and just picked up an Al Reach from Mr. Stinson in hopes that he will get inducted soon.

Just went through your bucket and really enjoyed it. Tons of baseballs! I love auto'd balls, but they create more of a storage problem, so I only have a few (mostly IP). I'm always on the lookout for unique flats, but...

Thanks for the mention. Anyone with 200+ autos has a badass collection, and there aren't that many such collections out there. I love seeing people post new acquisitions, but when the numbers are that high it always something incredible.

I am indeed at 232 and am stalled. I can't sniff a new auto for less than 2500 at this point. They are out there, and I do enjoy looking, but I need to save and be patient. Number 233 will most likely be a while. Sometimes I envy collectors just getting started, like the guy who recently posted his HOF auto #35. So many sweet purchases ahead of him.

My goal is to hit 200 (not including new BBWA selections) within the next few years. It is funny how there are holes in my collection (Jackson, Rousch) that I refuse to fill until I acquire some of the more toughies. I love looking and Bombjack's and Earlywynn's collections and thinking like, maybe one day I will get a Bill Foster in my collection.

I have also tried to get older players on quality pieces (Letter, checks), but am noting that the rarer the player the tougher/more expensive it is becoming to get on quality items. So far, there is only one "cut" in my collection, but I think that will have to change soon.

I orig. intention was to get as many as I can, (flat only, however I have a McGowan ball, but would trade for a flat)...no matter the condition, cheaper the better lol.

Once I hit around 200 I realized additional pickups will be few and far between, so I've been picking up more vintage (and better quality) autos of some of the guys and plan on selling the old doubles away....anything with a postmark/date is pretty neat....

I still gotta get myself a Hodges and Marvin Miller...it's only a matter of time IMO

Just pulled up my HOF spreadsheet and realized I hadn't updated it for the last 2 years, so I can now add Santo and Ruppert to my list and have jumped from 168 to 170 without spending a nickel. Yeee Haaa!

+1!!! Flats and cuts are where I found the most value with my collection. Now at 200, I am looking for upgrades to some of my pieces. Funny thing is, my McGowan is a ball as well . Picked up from Stinson earlier this year.
