Default Question on Card Pages

Bought a collection that includes a lot of 90s stuff in plastic pages, which I'm thinking of reusing. Most of the pages have no markings. I'm assuming that if there is no smell and the cards have been in the pages for 10+ years with out damage, the pages must be safe. Mind you this will be for 60/70s sets in VG at best condition.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Bob

In this case, I wouldn't worry about it.

Other signs that pages may not be safe: yellowing, brittle, or hard to bend.

Or pages that stick to each other. PVC almost always does that until it dries out and gets brittle.

They might be ok, but the only unmarked pages I can recall were some very inexpensive PVC ones, and some made from decent materials but really thin and not great quality that came in either beginners kits or as add-ons to those kits usually available in places like K-mart. (I think they may still be around, probably as pokemon card pages)
