Default To Slab Or Not To Slab That Is The Question

I have a Earl Averill Day program (August 3rd, 1938) that has a nice signature on it and I am debating on if I should get it slabbed or not. Has anyone else gotten similar items slabbed and if so were you happy with how they came out.

Hi Mike,

I don't really have an opinion on the slabbing (but if I had to choose, I'd say no), but if that's the same program I have, it's pretty big, right? Is there a TPG that makes a holder than can handle it?

One of my favorite Cleveland-related programs, by the way.

Rob

Hey Mike,

I think it is a matter of personal choice. I know when they are slabbed they can be worth more. I don't like items slabbed cause I don't like the way they looked when they are displayed, but that is my opinion. Also if you slabbed it you will not be able to look inside it.

Rob - it is around 9 x 12

Jon - The inside portion of the program is not that great. Mainly just ads not a ton of pictures.
