Living in Cincinnati, I have become fond of Ezzard Charles - The Cincinnati Cobra. Picked up a few press photos and some full front pages of the sports section of national news papers. It is interesting that you hear little of Charles, even though he was one of the greatest fighters of all time. He came very close to being the only fighter to score a victory against Rocky Marciano. He defeated Joe Louis, Charley Burley, Jersey Joe Walcott, Archie Moore and Joey Maxim. Was wondering what collectors have of The Cincinnati Cobra. First photo: 1951-03-07 National Boxing Association World heavyweight title - Walcott was floored for a nine-count in the ninth round at Olympia Stadium, Detroit. This was the second of four fights between the two.

Second photo: 1951-07-18 National Boxing Association World heavyweight title - Walcott KOs Charles in the 7th at Forbes Field, Pittsburgh. This was the third of four fights between the two.

First photo: 1952-06-05 National Boxing Association World heavyweight title - Walcott beats Charles at Municipal Stadium, Philadelphia. This was the last of four fights between the two.

Second photo: 1955-07-14 - Paul Andrews wins in a split decisions against Charles at the Chicago Stadium, Chicago. Charles was knocked down in the 2nd.
