Default March Pick-Ups

It's time I start picking up some items for my post-war collection. This was delivered yesterday, and I've got more items coming.

Dan,

Very nice upgrades. That Hunter looks beautiful for the grade. I'm also a big fan of "other" rookie year issues and love that Carew. I've got a couple of team issues coming in and I'll be sure to post them.

Dan, that Koufax is great. I've never noticed how big his feet were in the full body shot, like a size 15!

Here's my latest- Please forgive the poor photo quality as I just took it with my phone. '48 Bowman Musial RC just signed by Stan last week.

Dang, seeing him sign that card must have brought to mind "Old Man" by Neil Young

Default 1960 Topps Mantle

Nice Cards!!

I finally recieved my 1960 Topps Mantle....have been looking for one with ALL these attributes......centering, sharp corners, registration.

I am not sure why this only graded a "6" though. Sharp card!!

Eric, you are correct-they are the first series 67's with the Venezuelan Winter League Players (138 in the subset). Impulse buy, unlike Jackie. I may do the whole VWL subset, we'll see.

Default Staying with the 54 Theme

It's been a while since I picked up anything new, outside of some 86-87 Fleer Basketball commons for the set I am building. Picked this up from a fellow board member this week.
