Default Question about Tobacco Boxes

Posted By: Richard Dwyer

Check this one out. A "Liggett & Myers" box being advertised as an 1887 Allen & Ginter box for only $1500!

Here's a Sweet Caporal box that shows T206 cards with a box dated 1912-1918.

I've been watching auctions like this for years. Finding a box that has the right Factory, District, State, and correct tax stamp are non-existent nowadays on eBay.

I have Jon Canfield's book and also have read his article in issue 3 of Old Cardboard. Question: What do you think these boxes would go for if they had the right Factory, District, State, and correct tax stamp?

Default Question about Tobacco Boxes

Posted By: jay behrens

no real clue on prices, but considering no known example of any Hindu box exists, I would imagine it would go for a small fortune becuase more than just baseball colelctors would be bidding on it.

My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.
