Default Original baseball photos found from the 1920s and 1930s in Ohio

Rarely is a great collection found with negatives like this, the size of the photos is what got me interested. I just visited the Hall of Fame and noticed the lack of original photography next to players and teams vintage sports memorabilia. I am not surprised they are interested, but I would rather see the nice lady sell them then have them placed in the basement. If she does end up donating the photos, she should demand they be displayed.

Thanks for the link Jimmy. That Cobb photo is outstanding! I hope we get to see the collection in one of the major auction houses...even if I can't afford the photos at least I'll get to see them in print. If she gives these to the Hall of Fame they'll probably never see the light of day.

Dan,

I would love to see the complete collection, new images are always interesting. Maybe some day they will surface.

If they make it to the HOF all you have to do is request a copy of the photos. You can then order prints for yourself. They may not be on view but that doesn't mean they can't be seen.
