Default Real Photo Postcard Newspaper about Cinn Reds '20s

Posted By: Laura

See my eBay auction for a RPPC showing an elderly couple sitting on a porch in the Covington area of KY. In the man's hand is a copy of the Kentucky Times-Star, a morning daily newspaper that was published between 1902 to 1958 in Covington, KY. In it we can see a number of headlines, full or partial that include: "...r Over Williard" (which likely had to do with the Williard Machine and Tool Company), "About Jack and Jess", "First Choices Are Nosed Out", "Game Won by Reds" which is no doubt about an early game won by the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. Sadly, I can't make out the date, but the back of the card has an AZO mark in the stampbox with two triangles up and two down that dates it between 1910 to 1930.

See the auction here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150321495711
