Basketball Rookie Cards
My first year collecting Basketball cards was 1977-78 as an 8 year old. Let's see your favorite basketball rookie cards, they don't have to be HOF'ers either. I'll start off with a few of mine.........

Great stuff! I'm mainly a bat guy but I've been really fighting the urge to start putting back the card collection I had in the 1990s when I was heavy into collecting basketball.
My plan (not yet in play) is to start picking up rookies and inserts of Michael Jordan and Shaq as Shaq was my favorite player growing up and I somehow managed to end up having quite a few nice Jordan cards. Jury is still out as to whether I want to go with graded or ungraded cards. I guess if I went with graded I'd probably want to stick with PSA 9s or 10s.

I used to be a strictly baseball guy until about 2 years ago. Then I won a sharp 75 Basketball set and am hooked. Working on complete sets from 48 Bowman up until 89 Fleer. It's very economical except for a few of the big ones and the cards are so cool (especially mid-70's NBA).
