Great card Jim!

Here is what I consider to be the nicest Bobby Jones card out there.

(Although recently - The 1932 US Caramel is one I am liking more and more... I don't have one to show.)

Paul -
sweet 1932 US Caramel!

If you ever see a nice one in an auction... please shoot me a heads up email (unless you are going for it yourself).

Regards,
Joe

Paul,

Is that 1932 U.S. Caramel as good as it looks?

Looks like a mint card.

Sorry for getting you guys excited, but it's not mine. I still rue the day I sold my 32 Jones(it wasn't mint like that one). One day I hope to acquire another, so we may be sniping each other Joe.

I have been wanting these 2 back practically since the day I sold them. I graded them for my uncle who is a golf collector and not a card guy , we were looking at a mastro catalog and saw one in there and he said "hey I have that card", comes to find out he had 2 that he bought for under 100 bucks at a golf auction many years ago. sent them in and then sold them for him , should have kept one as I was originally planning.

I do still have this one which I am very happy with

Wow--what a collection of vintage Bobby Jones cards--stunning.

So stunning I had to see for myself. Mike and I had breakfast in NYC yesterday morning where he showed me a few of these beauties.

I just may have to add some vintage Bobby Jones cards to my collection.

Jim,

I have had some nice email correspondence with Mike.

The cards that Mike is making available are simply incredible and would be the cornerstone of any bobby jones collection.

I am a bit jealous that there was a NYC Golf Breakfast Show and Tell - and I didn't attend

Hope you snagged a couple from Mike.... just not the one I have my eye on

Regards,
Joe

Mike is a GREAT guy. I have had the pleasure of meeting him at the National in Chicago a few years back. He seems to locate some pretty dang high end and rare stuff from both the golf card arena AND from Baseball as well.
