Default Another Babe Ruth question?

Came across this listing on Ebay and had a couple questions about the Ruth
cut.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BABE-RUTH-SI...item5af3a4ee6b

This is the second time that Tri-Star has featured a Ruth auto in which the "Ruth" is significantly slanted down and to the right. I haven't seen this aspect in many Ruth autos, and it struck me as odd that Tri-Star would feature two of them. Is this common?

Secondly, the manner in which the "R" and "u" of Ruth are connected also seemed rather unique. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Notice, too, that the "B" and the "a" are connected--something one almost never sees. But it is indeed authentic, notwithstanding.

Thanks for the responses.

Is the slant of "Ruth" (down and to the right) common? Is that something more common in his later years, or the sign of a "hurried" auto?

Just another variation of "The Babe's" sig.

Thanks Chris. Here's another Tri-Star Ruth with the same slant...only 2 that I've seen. Thoughts?
