Jim, a good and timely question. Glenn Mechanick has written an excellent article on the set to be published in the next issue of Old Cardboard. It includes a 21-card checklist that we will also be placing on the Old Cardboard website about the time that the magazine is issued. We hope that you enjoy the article. --Lyman

I don’t understand why publications have William McKinley in this set. He did not run for President until 1897. He did although try to run in 1892, but was unsuccessful. The four pictured in the set are Benjamin Harrison, Levi Morton, Grover Cleveland, and Allen Granberry Thurman.

This has been shown before but here is Thurman (scan 4X actal size of card), who was the losing vice-presidential candidate. He is one of the 4 (not 3) heads that appear in the set.

Thanks Rhett. For some reason, Morton has been confused with McKinley. I dont know how or why, because the picture of Morton on the cards look nothing like McKinley.

I believe the bodies are from the Virginia Brights womens baseball set. Could some poses be from the Subrosa womens set as well?
