Overgraded, no better than a BCCG 7.

I don't see the big horizontal crease. Or even a small one for that matter.

I didn't at first either, but use the blow up tool, start at the top and scroll down that left side to about 1/4th the way down, it's faint, but you can see the telltale signs of cardboard stretch caused by a crease. The back ...well I couldn't see it, but it's there on the front.

The card looks pretty nice, but i have a feeling that when it's delivered, someone is gonna be ticked off!

It's an 8.5...of course it is perfect, Ha!
Looks like front shoulder straight left to edge.

I see it now. The price on this is pretty surprising to me. Even without the crease I would assume that card is at least altered, if not counterfeit. I have my doubts that this is a legitimate auction.

Default Is it normal...

I don't follow big ticket cards, but is the fact that every single bid is a nice round, even amount normal? I know in my bottom feeder world ebay bids are quite often involving cents. I just would have guessed that at least odd dollar amounts might pop up occasionally.

And of course you have to question a bidder constantly exposing his privates (slang for private bidding status).

I am having a hard time with that scan locating the crease too, but those borders definitely look pretty tight.

If it was not trimmed I would think they would have crossed it. Even a PSA 5 should get a better return than a CSA 8.5.

Colors look weird to me also but he has sold a lot of nice PSA Goudey's too, but not in a while.

The winner really wanted it as it looks like he put in a larger bid at the end so he wouldn't get outbid. He is going to be one happy camper!! What a solid buy.

Certainly looks like this card has been put through the wringer. Literally.

Think someone just overpaid formal PSA 2 At best and possibly Altered.

It looks real,

Just cleaned, trimmed and creased also. I would put it in the 400-650 in an Auth SGC holder to the right excited buyer.

Whoever just felt like this was a good deal is taking a 4k bath.

One way of cleaning cards also removes creases. Problem is the creases come back. Might be a month might be a couple years but the creases always come back.

People these days seem to see only flips and centering. Different era. Creases, bat ears, cards that are short, corners that look pressed/filed/etc.? Invisible with the flip.

You sure they still see flips? Think it all comes down to centering.

I think that is true with the PSA purists.

If they are doing that with a CSA, they really just are completely treading water in an ocean they have no reason to be in.
