First off, I was the one that bought the Hall Cycle yesterday on eBay.
Believe it or not, the card was already delivered today. Talk about fast.
Not sure how to handle this. I just felt the urge to step forward. Maybe we can work out a trade.
I've had this happen to me before. Seller refunds my money along with a story that the card was already spoken for. Different seller. Bad business practice indeed.
Hope the OP got a fair deal along with the refund.

Thanks for coming forward.

Absolutely keep the card, and I hope it fit a need for you!

They just have a few kinks to work out, some of which came out in this situation. I think that they are a good company, and by no means a dirty company, and if this situation had initially been handled directly by the owners - it probably would have been dealt with differently.

Just finished getting some more e-mails and I think the issue has been resolved.

Even though they made an initial mistake, they did their best to contact me and rectify the issue.

That being said, they're customer service was indeed phenomenal. After I had a conversation with Adam, one of the owners, Bob Snyder did the rest.

Great businessmen and great guys. I'm confident the company will fix this issue in the near future and I will definitely do business with them again.

Funny how the buyer is also a member of the message board.

The same kind (although not exactly) of thing happened in the pre-computer days. The dealer A from the company was ready to sell the card thru the mail when the partner B sold it at a show before partner A was ready to put it aside.

The solution is to have software that the second a card sells on the website, it is automatically taken off eBay and when it is sold on eBay, it is automatically taken off the website. That would have solved this initial problem.

It seems like every prewar collector is a member of the message board.

Sure, that software would be nice. Wouldn't be a bad idea- I'm sure a bunch of dealers would give a decent amount of money for it.
