Pretty slow month, but picked this up for the Lou Brock collection.

I'm not sure exactly what this is, it is about half the thickness of the regular 70 Supers, and has square corners.

The Brock is a '70 Topps Super #11 proof card.

I've got another square cornered 70 Brock, but it is normal thickness and has the back on it.

Default Matthews

What a beautiful Matthews card you picked up. Congrats on a tough card.

I have been kind of on the sidelines as of late churning through my collection with a slight change of focus toward high end Post War HOF RC's. Although not a rookie card, the deal on this was to good for me to pass, up on a card I have wanted for quite a long time. Can't say that I am a very big Mantle collector, but really enjoy having this card in my collection.

Really happy about these additions...

1947 Bond Bread Jackie Robinson Leaping No Scoreboard (Total Pop 5 - Lowest Pop in the Bond Bread set - 1 of the Throwing cards is incorrectly listed as a Leaping No Scoreboard causing the discrepancy in the pop listings)

1955 Topps Doubleheader Jackie Robinson (scored this for $150 below VCP)

I now have 3 of the toughest 4 cards in the 1947 Bond Bread Jackie Robinson set (Glove In the Air, Batting No Sleeves, and Leaping No Scoreboard) - Hoping I can complete this set by the end of next year.

I couldn't resist the pack-fresh qualities of this card at a psa 6 price...
