Default T205 info requested -- part 1

Posted By: Shawn Adkins

In an attempt to confirm some research by Joshua Levine and myself, I am curious if any T205 collectors might be able to help me with some specific back information. There are 10 cards that I am currently focusing on with this research. The THREE pieces of information I am trying to assemble are 1) the brand information on the back, 2) the factory number and 3) the color of text. Any information would be greatly appreciated and the list of cards are below.

Crandall, Otis A[t] not crossed in name
Gray, DollyBstats on back
Hoblitzell, DickAno stats on back
Latham, Arlie B[W.A. Latham] on back
Moran, P.J.Astray line of type below stats
Shean, David BChicago
Suggs, George
Wallace, Bobby Ano cap, one line of 1910 stats
Wilhelm, Kaiser A[suffered] in the 18th line of bio
Wilhelm, Kaiser B[suffe ed] in the 18th line of bio

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Shawn

Default T205 info requested -- part 1

in looking at the backs of my cards to assist you in your research, i found (maybe) a variation on my hoblitzell back, if someone could explain or tell me that it's not worth anything that would be great...

I have 2 Hoblitzell "1908 Cin"

on the polar bear (blue) it appears to be Cin (capital "C")

on the Cycle (Black) it appears to be cin (lower/maybe 3/4 "c") but definately not the same size...

can anyone help me with this? sorry for the hijack!

T205 Suggs Hassan Factory 30 Green

T205 Hoblitzell (no stats) Hassan Factory 30 Green

T205 Wallace (one line) Hassan Factory 30 Green

I think it is great that you and Joshua are putting the effort on the T205 research. If there is anything I can do, let me know.

Martin

Russ, yes the Hoblitzell with CIN comes in two different fonts. Only the extreme variation collector (like myself) puts any weight into having both versions. Good eye to catch the minor difference though. The font difference is only found on Cycle and American Beauty (black) backs, that I have confirmed, although no single back brand comes with both versions.

Thanks to everyone for the input thus far.

Shawn
