Default Anybody know who ended up with this Cobb?

Posted By: Dave

I'm sure somebody made the seller an offer to end early...in just a few minutes it had got up to $500 or so....curious if someone here ended up with the card.

I agree. The Type I is hard to come by especially a Cobb. No telling what it would go for. $2,000 plus?

Did you try to contact the seller and ascertain the buyer's address?? That Kentucky seller has an odd assortment of stuff he's selling.

Frank.

Does the 1910(11?) T213 Cobb come in the other poses from T206?
I know I generally see the 14' and 19' in bat off, but not sure what poses are available in each year....
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Daniel

I havent...I contacted the seller when item was listed asking about guaranteeing original, warranty if it didnt grade and so forth and got a "snuffy" response....maybe someone else would like to take thier chances asking him why he ended and for how much?

I was trying to run it up as high as possible when it first appeared as I thought this guy might delist it. Within 15 minutes of it being listed, I bid $400, was outbid by "blachely" and then I bid $700 with every intention to run it up way past $2000 within the first hour, but no one else bid. I emailed the guy after he cancelled my bid and told him to reconsider and relist it, as he had made a mistake and probably left alot of money on the table, but he never responded. Regards

not what i collect, but i just looked at this auction, to help you guys out...

zero bids and it says:

"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

he simply pulled it

A high % of the cards that reach $400+ in the first few hours then have all bids cancelled and card pulled, is because he took an off eBay offer from a collector and ended the auction.

The only other "might be", it he is sending it in to be graded.

I am on a campaign for folks to bid early with me on these rare items listed by naive sellers in the correct category. Real dealers don't apply as they know what they are selling. If the seller lists a rare item in the wrong category, then I put it on my watch list. If others had bid 50% of their snipe bid here with me the guy may have not taken it down. I emailed him politely yesterday and earlier tonight I sent the seller a rude email. Trying all the avenues. Doubt my bid would have been highest, but just wanted the opportunity. Regards
