Default BST Question

What the hell does "net to me" mean in the bst listings and does it really matter?

Thanks,

AndyH

It means if you pay by regular PayPal you also need to cover the fees charged by PayPal.

It means the seller needs to get that amount in their pocket after accounting for all all transaction fees. In other words if you want to pay with regular paypal, you pay the additional fees above the asking price so the seller doesn't have to account for those fees, or you could just use gift/friends and family.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I see it all the time these days and never used to years ago. Makes sense now.

It's a great way to do business in my opinion. Insisting on PayPal F&F even when the buyer is willing to pay regular PayPal fees can look shady, even if it isn't necessarily so.

I don't have a problem with it but think it's unnecessary. I only take regular paypal (goods and services) and just factor that fee into my cost instead of telling people they're getting something for one price and then hitting them up for an extra 3%. Same with shipping, but again that's just the way I do things.
