Default Rickey Henderson Rookie question

So I have seen all of this Rickey Henderson card being worth 100K when it's a 10. I have also seen this card valued at 100.00. What gives? I have 2. What do you think they would rate and value please?

Yeah, both around PSA 6 - 6.5 quality. Centering is actually really good. Both have weak corners and print defects. I'd guess $30 each, based on what I buy that same quality for on COMC.

Centering excellent for 80s, however very worn corners and dull surface quality. 3.5 to 4.5 with today’s standards. Maybe as said prior 30 each on a good day from a newer budget collector. Personally I would not grade either as it accentuates the flaws with a modern card to have anything less than a 7 in my mind, plus, after current pricing with grading fees you would be in the hole after selling.

There’s a good reason a 10 sells so high, they are not the same as finding a needle in a haystack but rather finding a quick threading sewing needle in a haystack sized pile of dressmaker pins. It can be confusing, but definitely enjoy your cards and love them. My childhood Hendersons look the same and I thought them perfect and still wouldn’t move them.

You're welcome.

Like Vintage Card Curator mentioned in the vid, it sure would be interesting to see who the people are who received the majority of the PSA 10's.

Totally agree. I remember when the 10s were exploding and dug out my Ricky's as I thought, man, mine are mint! Sure enough, none would have been close to a 10....

Cool video...

Dug out my Henderson rookie I've had for 35 years, which was the last time I looked at it. I forgot about the nice crease it had.
