Two separate lots running concurrently in the same thread. I must have picked them up in '69, as it includes the only year the Seattle Pilots were in town before they became Burkett's team of choice in Milwaukee. Sold sealed in single waxwrap for a thin dime, which included four cards and six patches.
Auction 1)
CARDS. Only one card per team. In case you've never seen this rare breed, you get a logo and 2 quiz questions. Measure approx 2-9/16" x 4-1/16" (Lemke must have measured them. certainly not me). Back is blank.
15 CARDS: Senators, Pilots, Astros, Tigers, White Sox, Braves, Angels, Dodgers, Twins, Mets, Giants, Athletics, Orioles and Padres.
Auction 2)
PATCHES. A possible two logo designs per team. They seem like some sort of nylon polymere (hence the weird looking scan) and die-cut for peel-off. This must have wrecked hell with the factory cutter, as miscuts are not unusual. Approx 2-1/2" X 3-5/16".
30 patches. 17 teams represented with 2 different style patches: Senators, Dodgers, Royals, Cardinals, Padres, Cubs, Indians, Yankees, Mets, Twins, Angels, Orioles and White Sox.
Four teams with only 1 style patch: Braves, Phillies, Athletics and Pirates.
No doubles either auction. These things don't go for much but are difficult to locate onlne (through my own trite Googling). You'd likely have to annoy some Old Baseball Cards dude/dudette, Annoy me instead
