Default Would like to say hello

Hello everyone,

I decided to join after receiving many recommendations from members on blowout. I've been wanting to shift my collecting toward vintage, starting with a T206, for a while now and now hopefully I can make this happen! Thanks Leon for allowing me join. Looking forward to learning more and adding to my collection.

Andrew

Hello Andrew. I started the T206 about a month ago.... love the cards but I have come to realize that I may be spending a little too much of the household budget on cards.

Welcome.

Welcome to the Board Andrew!

Net54 is a great place.

I don't know much about T206s, but will help you the best I can.

Default t206

I would give one suggestion. I decided to buy my first T206 cheaply and just got a random low grade common. Do think about what you want long term. I ended up going into HOF T206 cards in low grade as you can get them for as little as $40 on this board. Or you might decide you want higher grade and buy 1 midgrade instead of a few low end commons.

Andrew,

I joined this site a month ago and after looking at some of the photos posted, I started a T206 Detroit Tigers team set (minus the 4 Ty Cobbs). So far, I picked up 8 of them!
Good luck and welcome.
Jim

Good luck. I think I just unwittingly started collecting T206s as well (got some in a box lot) for a good price. Will have to see if I like them or decide to trade them to guys here.

Thanks everyone! I'm excited to get a few of them in hand to start off with. Definitely won't be able to tackle the whole thing for a while, but it sounds like fun for those who have and are trying! I'm sure there's a thread somewhere that I'll have to find, but I would love to see everyone's collections of the famous T206's!

Welcome! I think you'll find that if you have a question, you'll almost always find the answer here.

Sincerely,
