You could try the black light test to see if the paper illuminates.

Some closer and better shots of the front might help, too. At first glance, it looks suspiciously bright to my eyes, and I'm wondering if it has that shiny sheen a lot of the forgeries and fakes exhibit. The condition and appearance of the back has never meant much to me as the fakers go to great lengths to give the backs a lot of dirt and wear and tear to try to show age, and in fact that's usually a good tipoff since why would the back look so much funkier than the front where the graphics are? Whatever a legitimate piece has gone through over time, the front and back have gone through it together and should look like it.

The colors just seem way too bright for a piece from the mid 30's, and as far as I can see there doesn't seem to be hardly any edge wear or damage, which would be hard to believe that it has lasted this long in this condition?
