Default Whither Mark Murphy, the Baseball Card "Kid"?

I was thumbing through Murphy's unopened pack guide from 1996 and was wondering - whatever became of him?

He was a pretty big deal, so it seems, back at that time; I placed at least one order from him that I can recall now.

Is he still in the hobby?

I'm not sure if he's still in the hobby. I did hear there was a fire at the warehouse where a large portion of his inventory was housed. If that's true, I can only imagine a loss of that magnitude.

Not if he had insurance.

If I remember correctly, after the fire he went into board games buying and selling. I remember seeing some on his web site a very long time ago.
But then again, who said my memory is any good.
