that's a solid 2 mantle! one thing about the 53 (for me, atleast) is the lower left hand corner and how often it gets chipped and turns white. even your's w/ the corner wear doesn't display it which is a good thing, imo. cheers!
to this day, i have still yet to find my 53. it's always centering issues and a good corner or a dead centered one with a chipped up lower left corner.

nice sandlot shirt!!!
arrived yesterday. 52 mantle was from same vendor as the one posted earlier. pete syck. couldn't have been a smoother transaction price or delivery wise. even though a 7, it trumps the past two 8's i was contemplating. "didn't even have to use my a.k., i gotta say it was a good day"

Following the Williams/DiMaggio theme, I was at a card show when I was about 15 years old. The dealer had two very old Life magazines for sale, each for the then-unaffordable price of $50 each.
I knew I couldn't get them, but I told myself if I ever made it big, I would track these down and put them in my office. It only took me 30 years!
