Default Maybe it's me, but......

I think I need a little more to go on before making a bid:

He says it's brand new from 1914-35. What more do you need?

On the bright side though, the card is "single" so you won't have any awkward relationship problems to worry about.

Default You better enjoy it

Whatever it is, you better like it because he doesn't accept returns either.

Default Upper Deck was one of those Legendary Gum Compainies from the 1930's!

Wasn't Upper Deck one of those Legendary Gum Companies from the 1930's like Goudey and DeLong?

Default such cards!

I always pull such cards when ripping wax! If you need one or any similar theme, ask me during BB season for a free one.
Fellow member Rich K. and I trade team boxes every year! Looking forward to the 2012 BB wax,,,,,,,,,,

Brian,

You and I are going to have problems if you keep outing auctions. As this beauty was miscategorized in pre-war, I had a good chance of snatching it at a bargain price.

Default Postage is $2

And his postage is probably worth more than the card.

of course you realize that because of your post his auction has now had about 300 hits so he's sitting there thinking surely there are tons of snipes being set....and he's in for a big payday.

I think the real steal are the '87 Fleer Clemens for $35 and Dairy Queen Mcgwire for $25.

Maybe he meant to move the decimal 2 places to the left in the starting bid.

I wrote him telling him and I'd give him $800 because it's a rare card and his response was : "Yes, you've got yourself a deal". I felt kinda bad writing him, but he really thinks it's rare.

We laugh at stuff like this, and it is funny as heck, but in reality i hope no poor sucker gets fooled by this and buys it.
