Default Help With Player Identity or Team Info (1914 Thads Semi Pros)

Recently picked up this absolutely HUGE, 21 1/2" x 27 1/2” framed cabinet from the Halper Collection. I have exhausted all of my best efforts at obtaining information on the team (1914 Thads Semi Pros) despite the fact that they were apparently Champs in Northwest Ohio in 1914. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Default Joe E. Brown

Can't tell you much about the team itself, although I can tell that the most prominent member of the team is Joe E. Brown (top row, middle):

Brown was heavily involved with baseball his whole life, including movie and stage roles, team ownership and promotional activities and appearances. He was also a pioneer collector of baseball memorabilia, amassing an incredible collection.

There is a biography on Brown that may reveal more about the Toledo Thads:

I have a real photo postcard of the same image.

Here's an article with four player names as well as some info on other teams. Plenty of leads to tack down..

Thanks for the input Steve but I'm not seeing anything. Just looks like a broken link on my computer.

Sorry, iPad disaster? Here's another shot. It's the Perrysburg journal from 9/10/14.
