Default Aaaah September’s Cupcake Football

Yesterday was a banner day for cupcake football. The powerhouses of college football can be proud of their victories indeed.

South Dakota scored two touchdowns against Oklahoma losing a squeaker 70-14.

Alabama had trouble keeping New Mexico State off the scoreboard in their 62-10 nail biter.

Wisconsin, after losing to BYU early last year, pulled out all the stops against Central Michigan edging them out 61-0.

The Ducks from Oregon wanted a shutout as well but had to settle for a 71 point margin in their 77-6 victory over Nevada.

And the mighty Wolverines of Michigan literally destroyed the Cadets from West Point 24-21.

Stay tuned for next week’s Cupcake Update.

That was a fine, previously-unbeaten Army squad that Michigan valiantly battled.

A squad from West Point hasn’t defeated Michigan in 65 years. They are Medicare eligible for mending their wounds.

Army is 21-5 the last 2 years combined and finished number 19 last year. Not the same as the other teams mentioned.
