Default Dumbest Pre-War Baseball Card

Posted By: John Spencer

Well, we have had the world beaters and the ugly of the ugliest. How about the dumbest? My vote would have to go to the E121 Ruth Holding Bird. It is just plain silly, and who is the strange little man standing next to the Babe? Your vote?

My all time favorite dumbest card has to be the 1913 Fenway Breweries/Tom Barker Baseball - Honus Wagner.
If anyone can tell me what Honus is waiting for, I would appreciate it. Looks like he offering something to the Gods.

Imagine hoping for a Wagner, Dots Miller, Fred Clarke or Babe Adams when mom comes home from the store with the loaf of Tip Top Bread, and getting one of these guys instead . . .

One of the dumbest has to be Tido Daly's four base hits card that not only spells his name wrong but doesnt even picture him
