Default Common player prices for T206, N172, etc.

Can the experts please list common prices for your area of expertise...

I've seen common prices for T206s listed on the web as follows (not sure how accurate they are):

PSA 3 $40
PSA 4 $60
PSA 5 $100
PSA 6 $200
PSA 7 $500

What are some of the other common prices for vintage cards?

Those numbers seem in the ballpark, but T206s have become very difficult to predict with anything other that Sweet Cap or Piedmont backs (not counting factory 42). All other backs, even the ones that are not that tough are bringing in premiums these days.

With N172s, the prices on commons really depends primarily on the quality of the image contrast. I would pay more for a PSA 1 with a strong image and back damage than I would for a PSA 8 that is heavily faded. Just my opinion, but I think it is shared by a lot of N172 collectors.

+1

Be careful with graded N172. They miss stuff, they also see stuff that's not there. I see ojs graded auth with no alteration. On the flip side, there is a PSA 1 up for auction on eBay right now with the ad cut off the bottom. Not sure how anyone could miss that. Some bidders are missing it too as I think the price is already high (kind of). Try to look past the holder on these.
