Default 2017 Topps Series 1 question

Ok, I was given about 350 cards from this set today. I never do modern baseball. So when I put the cards in order
and check the singles against a checklist. I do not know how anyone could put that set together with all the variation.
But I also noticed that 2 of the cards I got have like an embossed serial number on the back of the card. The number is
located just above the team logo. Is this anything of importance. Thanks to anyone that can lead me in the right direction.

Anything different is not base set, however there is base set sp variations…lol. Set building is basically near impossible for a completist on modern.

TCDB is a good start for any modern questions but still misses items.

Check the inserts tab for your serialed cards. There is not clear answer for your question without scans as there is just far too many possibilities.

What is the serial number limited to? /300 usually signifies modern stat parallel, where Wins and Losses (or BA/RBI) are replaced with "fantasy stats" like QS, WHIP, OPS, RC+. If it's /99, it could be the Topps logo throwback variation.
