Default Help Needed - Phil Niekro Dominican "Album" Card

I recently bought this card from a Niekro collector who had done some independent research on the card and received some feedback (see link below):

http://forums.collectors.com/message...hreadid=828292

As you can see, Niekro is wearing an Estrellas de Oriente uniform from the Dominican Winter Leagues.

It has been confirmed that Niekro played for the Estrellas from 1966-67. He also played for a Dominican team from 1963-64. I am hopeful that the team he played for during the winter of '63-'64 was also the Estrellas de Oriente, as it would open up the possibility that this card dates from that season and would make it the earliest known Niekro card.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Phil - that's the second page of the link I had posted. It looks like the research stopped there. I'd like to know which Dominican team Phil Niekro played for in 1963 before moving over to Puerto Rico for the remainder of that winter season.

Any reference material that might have rosters of those teams, particularly the Estrellas de Oriente??
