Maybe so, I considered try to brush it off, however I was more worried about paper coming with it.

Next time try rubbing pantyhose over the glob as Darren suggested earlier in the thread. After reading his suggestion, I tried it on some of my own cards. I must say, it worked rather well. Didn’t get everything off, especially the older stuff. But it actually removed a few gum stains and other unknown sources of goo (not all of them, but some). The key is to not rub too hard, as I “streaked” some of the blue sky in my Bench rookie from pressing down to hard. A nice relaxed stroke should do the trick 😂

Of course I had some ‘splaining to do when the wife walked in and saw me with my arm shoved up her pantyhose.

I frequently just use my shirt tail to remove wax stains from older gum cards. Works very well.
