Default Real or Fake? Deal or No Deal?

Did the seller get $113 for a reprint or did the buy just get the deal of the century?

Any listing that states "not sure of the authenticity" or "i'm rolling the dice with this one"; then 100% it's fake.

Fair enough. I guess it's the optimistic side of me that comes out with these "obvious yet not obvious" listings.

Not even a good fake.

The buyer did not get the deal of the century, he was just ripped off by clinging to hopes that he was.

I have a hard time disagreeing with anyone who loves Lance Parrish (he was my favorite player as a kid), but I've certainly seen worse fakes. The colors look fairly authentic to my eye.

easy to spot fake since he gave a nice scan. Look at the magnified version the print quality on the front is ludicrously poor.

Not likely, IMO. The buyer was probably the seller. Buyer has 7 bid retractions, and has bid on 10 other auctions from this seller, who only has 17 feedback.

In fact, all bidders were probably the seller, from the looks of things.

Imo buyer would of been berrer off buying a roll of toilet payer for $113, at least he could use it for something.

That type of language = reprint.

Plus, if it was real he wouldn't have let it sell for $114.

Someone posts one of these fake/real questions once a week. The answer to each one is always the same. They are fake.

We could be helpful and explain why we think it's a fake for technical reasons as opposed to just "duh, it's a fake." I think of all the people who helped me along the way and feel I owe it to others to help educate.

Lots of guys on here do just that, and that's awesome. But it's an online forum so some guys just want to come off as smarter than the OP. Never understood that, the OP is ADMITTING he doesn't know, which come to think of it, is actually pretty smart.

Note the even roundness on all four corners... the card is the reverse of the real thing...

No issues. It's a fair question. Ignore the haters, all bark..no bite.

If it looks too good to be true it is. Period.

If it was real someone smarter than you would have bought it yesterday. Or last month.
