I would say it’s probaly the discoloration on the back. I don’t remember Koufax having freckles so I assume those dots are mold on the front. The word pitching on the back has a little chunk missing from it.
I would assume that the satin was way worst but might have been cleaned up. With mold the marks can return.

It looks under graded to me, but it would have to be an 8 to justify the price. I see it as a 6 or 7 and not worth the sale price.
