should've asked him where he was so you'd be on the next flight in the morning and if he can pick u up from the airport for an in-person deal.

Reminds me of a guy selling cards at a flea market in Webster Florida last weekend. He had Goudy, Sporting News, and Carmel cards, so to speak. I had sun glesses on and could see there were issues with the cards. I looked closer and asked him, if they were reprints, because they didn't say on the cards. He said "They're baseball cards." I told him they look like reprints and he said "What are you an expert?" I said yes and walked away. What a jerk. I was asking a legit question. They were not just reprints, they were counterfeit.

Have to appreciate that he tried his craft at Presidents Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. Did he already sell his Shoeless Joe auto?

I was laughing too hard to focus on all of them but you may be right. I have seen many Mack sigs. on similar looking cards. This one may be good. Usually the guys that sell good/bad put in more then one good one though .

I wonder if you put all the white pieces of paper next to each other, if you could reassemble the full sheet before he cut it up!

Bottom Coob looks like it fits on top of Jackie Robinson and cobbs look like they fit together on angled sides.
Bottom gehrig looks like it fits under top Pie Traynor.
Anyone else want to play?

I was thinking the same thing. I have nothing to do at work tomorrow. I may print them out and see if they all fit together.

I think it's lucky the person who originally got these autos happened to have his pinkish notebook handy when he met Dean Martin, Andrew Carnegie, and Samuel Clemens. That way the paper they're on is the same. What are the odds??

Default #2 pencil

The funniest thing about these is that 99% of them are in pencil!!! All very similar cuts in the same pencil. I guess he got confused on what pens to use for different eras and went with the old stand-by.....the #2 pencil!!!

Peace, Mike

The more I looked, the more I laughed.

Thanks for the laugh!

(Had the Helen Keller been the last one... I would've lost it.)

Even though Helen had none of the 'advantages' I have, her signature was much better than mine is these days.

She was just lucky she never had to sign one of those credit card terminals with the plastic pens.

Good one!

With the technology we have these days, how is it even possible to have a machine that "uglifies" our signatures so badly? They can plant a GPS tracking device in a dog's head, but they can't replicate a simple signature?

In retrospect, Helen Keller had it pretty good

Ok, this legit just made me laugh out loud. I think Coach's Corner had one for sale last month.

They also had a 'J. Christ' on a stone tablet. The Ch blend looked a bit off to me, otherwise I would have bid.

Toss in Moses and Mohammed and you have a trifecta.
