on T207 for VCBC which would upgrade and add to Lew Lipset's excellent information in his Encyclopedia. For instance, there is a T207 Speaker on ebay now in which the seller claims is valuable because of the Anonymous back (it is a Factory No. 3). If you collect T207s you know (or should know) that there are 2 different Anonymous backs- Factory 3 from Virginia and Factory 25 from Virginia. All "rare back" T207s have either a Red Cross (impossible), Cycle, Broadleaf or Anonymous Factory 25 backs. This Speaker card is not a "rare back" card, as it was issued with a Recruit back (also Napoleon). The back doesn't make Speaker tough. The Anonyomus Factory 3 backs turn up (albeit not that often) on many of the common cards issued with Recruit backs. The "rare back" cards NEVER turn up with a Recruit back. The Speaker card, is however, for some strange reason, one of the "common back" cards which is very tough, along with Kling, Graham, McKechnie, and the Livinston variations.
Clear as mud?

Bob,

There are few people more qualified - or respected - than you, to take on such a venture.

Let me know which issue it appears in, so I can order extra copies.

if you don't feel up to it, send it as a "letter to the editor." He hasn't printed one for ages! He'd sure print that one!

And that is super-duscouraging--you submittred an article 7 months ago, and it hasn't showed yet? And I bet you slaved over it--like I'm doing!
