Default T201...To crossover or not crossover

Looking for a little feedback. I am attempting to build a mid grade T201 set and seem to see more PSA graded cards than SGC (which is my focus). I am considering picking up PSA when available then submitting to SGC. The few crossovers I have submitted were T206 and came back similar but lower in grade. I'm concerned, of course, about purchasing cards in a 6 and 7 grade then taking a possible hit. Any comments or suggestions? ( I know, I asked for it...)

If you buy a PSA then submit to SGC, submit it for a crossover in the holder. Then make sure they know you have a minimum crossover grade equivalent to the PSA grade. That way if it doesn't get the minimum it is still in the PSA holder and you can resell it looking for a card that does crossover.

I had similar thoughts on some sets back when I started out. I quickly came to the conclusion though, that the money spent on crossing a substatial number of cards over (say any more than 5) and I would be better served saving that money and investing it in more cards, as oppposed to crossing cards over. I'd rather invest $150 in more cards as opposed to paying to simply have cards crossed over.
