"Musta thought he was billing instead of posting."

Just in case you didn't notice how much he makes, the first time.

...Stop it. I'm sorry I mentioned my billing rate. Look at it this way I spend time in the hobby and posting because I love it just like you guys. We're all on the same playing field. I like to find a great prewar card at a reasonable price, just like you.

At least I'm not a New York attorney, those guys really charge a lot.

I was thinking that double posting might stem from double billing...

Peter,

Forget the billing rate--I am sure there are many guys on this board who make at least as much you per hour.

I consider Dave Forman a personal friend and I know he would gladly pay someone with your expertise $400 per hour. I think he would even show you how to use that funny black light that greaders use...or if you do better without it I am sure he would be just as happy saving the cost of buying another one.

He has said often to me "I wish my damn graders knew the color of their borders"...."if I could find someone who knew that 1971 Topps had black borders I would hire them in a heartbeat and they could name their price.

Peter--say the word and I will make the call.

Jim....once again trying to be a little controversial. Don't get too repetitive.

This whole thread has been controversial.....yet Jim makes two posts and gets two rebukes. Not cool.

The reason the comments to Jim is it seems that is the only time he decides to post...

Completely unrelated but since we're talking about SGC--do they do crossovers while still in the case?

From their site:

Q.) Does SGC accept cards graded by another company to be crossed over?
A.) We do offer a crossover service that reviews cards graded by other grading companies. The cost is $7.00 for the card to be reviewed, and possibly an additional amount based on the value of the card if the grade is going to meet the requirement you are looking for or if you want a quicker turnaround time on the cards. Make sure to put credit card information on the bottom of the invoice.

Thanks Frank,

Some people have nothing to add so they just criticize
me when I post--I am used to it here.

I still think its funny--Peter inadvertantly made what I thought was the funniest comment I have ever seen here.
