Default What is Tom Terrific doing??

seaver.jpg

Ever since I was a kid I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with Tom Seaver's bizarre 1972 'in action' card. At first glance, he appears to be enjoying a fine, knee-slapping laugh...which is quite weird for a baseball card. But if you look at it long enough, that giggle possibly turns into an image of Seaver in mid yell, shouting to Jerry Grote where to throw the ball during a sacrifice bunt attempt?? I dunno, but just the image of him all hunched over is very troubling to me in its own right.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow.
