Default T207 Display

A couple of weeks ago I requested help with the 12th open slot for my Detroit team set. I opted for the cigar box. I bought a box on eBay at a good $6.50 price. It even came with a cigar. I then got a SCG case from my son along with the green border heading. I printed out information of the package and then put it inside the green border and copied it. I then glued the case back together. I think it came out really well. The cards are all SGC graded and range from 45 to 70. The average grade is 55. In one photo you can see the corner of my t206 Tiger team set. All cards are raw except the Cobbs.

John - Neat idea and glad you went with the box. Is that a custom frame and mat or something you bought at a local store? Congrats, looks good.

It's hard to get a picture without taking it all apart. I'll try a more detailed explanation. Frame with a 1" inset, plexiglass, mat, double foam core plus a thickness of mat to make up the thickness of the SGC case. This allows for the removal of the cases. The back mat is a double thickness cut so that it covers some the case backs. This holds them in. I decided to not use plexiglass on the back. There are, just two openings with each holding 6 cases. I hope this helps.

Jrsox,

How much did that frame cost, all said and done? It's sharp!

Total cost $140. I did have a 60% off coupon. I think Michaels is a national chain. They have done great work for my son and I behfore as well. Thanks to all for your nice comments.
