Default Rare Cards

The recent “There are no good deals on ebay” thread has got me interested in the topic of rare cards like the 1932 R114 U.S. Caramel William McKinley mentioned being sold for next to nothing. Until that post I had no idea that was a rare card, as I don’t know that much about rare vintage cards beside the ones in the T206 set and a few other famous ones (like T205 Hoblitzell No Stats On Back).

So I thought it would be fun to start a thread where people could list other rare cards that most don’t know about (at least for a card novice like myself). And if anyone has some rare cards, I’d love to see them.

I’ll start it off:

• 1932 R328 U.S. Caramel Lindy Lindstrom
• 1933 Goudey Nap Lajoie (an obvious one I know)

This is a good thread about how many one of a kind cards there are out there.

Rare doesn't always signify high values though.

I know it is a W575-1 Keating Candy, but from everything i have read, most (I know not all, but most) have a hole punched in the card.
Therefore 2 reasons this is my, thought to be, rarest card in my collection...

This is the only 575-1 Eddie Collins Keating Candy that i have even seen, plus the fact that it has no hole punch.

If you have seen any more, please post.
BTW, any idea on what this is even worth??

J Dog, that card is not a vintage card. Modern made fake, aged to deceive.
