Default Whats your favorite Baseball post-war card design?

Sorry, bad day on this site?Wrong thread on the wrong spot! Some one can"t count from 38 to 58,which flat out killed a trade,I had agreed on!Oh, by the way my dad is dying!Guess this isn"t the right thread, spot, ether! SO for rules. My name is Hysell & i have been putting ROB on my listing!Short for Robert.I have Been geeting member profile pages on my Pm board & not there reply message on offers & I couldn"t get off this site, the other night, with out turning off my pc?Other than that, life is peachy!ROB.
{now} back to breaking the rules for were post are/or not to be put in? My pick was 1965 for there fronts & backs, which should count, to!I had 1972,but would say 1957 & 1967 are very close, also!

1959 Bazooka. Second choice is 1955 Bowman, probably because, if I remember correctly, that was the year my folks first got a TV.

IMHO, this thread should be moved to the post-War section of Net54.

I vote for 1949 Leaf. They look like baseball cards by Andy Warhol.

I am a '72 Topps fan.

btw, I have PMd the OP about what subjects go in what sections. I know he will be more careful in the future. This front page should generally be pre-wwII or related subjects chat...

Bowman - 53 and 50

Topps - 71

For backs though, the 57 Topps has a perfect baseball card back.

1957 Topps
1954 Wilson Franks (the colors! the wieners!)
1963 Topps
1971 Topps
1967 Topps

Least favorite: 1953 Topps. I hate the cartoony artwork.

1953 Topps
1949 Bowman and Leaf; always liked the "rugged" look of the cards
1957 Topps
1954 Topps
1960 Topps

Honorable mention to 1953 Bowman. If the backs were in the same league as the fronts, it would have made my list.

...the 1953 Bowman are not ' baseball cards' ; they are art.
