Why did you 'wrap up' the fish references without gathering them up with ROD Carew and Dick POLE and putting them in the Jack CREEL and Keith CREEL?

Thats true ROD Carew would have made quick work of "Dizzy" Trout , But I don't think the 2nd guy you mentioned was a baseball player I think that was a stage name for a male porn star

The guys that would FOR SURE bring closure to the entire "fish story" would be Bob SKINNER and then Woody FRYMAN.

Sorry Jim, you are inccorect.
Having been a former native of Massachusetts and former follower of MLB I clearly remember Dick Pole pitching for the Red Sox.-

Richard Henry Pole

Position: Pitcher
Bats: Right, Throws: Right
Height: 6' 3", Weight: 200 lb.

Born: October 13, 1950 in Trout Creek, MI (Age 62)
Signed by the Boston Red Sox as an amateur free agent in 1969. (All Transactions)
Debut: August 3, 1973
Teams (by GP): RedSox/Mariners 1973-1978

Final Game: July 18, 1978

And he was born in TROUT CREEK, MI!!!!

My grandfather once described to me how people used to go out at night and catch fish by stunning them with telephone cable and a good battery. I would suggest Berra and Ford for the fish in this thread.
